the staff is being very friendly. the room is contemporary and reasonably large and essentials you need, including an electric kettle, central heating and television with satellite channels, is right there. the bed is exceptionally comfortable.

Nice location for our needs, really close to all the wonderful surrounding villages and coastline, excellent local pub and the sandy beaches in Salcombe. Great-sized, brand-new units provided with a lovely bathroom, the comfiest bed and decent shower.

The room was quite dark, made me a little nervous.

The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, from the beautiful historic house to the homemade bread served at breakfast. Additionally, the location is ideal, with plenty of places to eat in the local area and easy access to the ferry across the estuary to Salcombe.
